Traffic restrictions and diversion for Shobha Yatra:
Shobha Yatra begins at Gouliguda Ramamandir. The Yatra goes towards Ramkoti Chowrasta, Kachiguda, Narayanaguda, RTC X Roads, Kavadiguda to Tadbund Hanuman Temple. Police will stop vehicles, while Shobha Yatra.

In view of the Hanuman Jayanti Shobha Yatra on April 4, traffic diversions will be done based on the necessity and as and when the procession approaches the particular junction, police officials said here on Thursday. The Shobha Yatra will proceed through the following routes: Ram Mandir, Gowliguda Putlibowli Crossroads, Andhra Bank Crossroads, DM&HS circle, Ram Kothi Crossroads, Kachiguda Crossroads, YMCA Narayanguda Circle, Under the flyover Narayanguda junction, RTC Crossroads, Ashok Nagar Crossroads, Gandhi Nagar ‘T’ junction, Kavadiguda Crossroads, Bible House, Gasmandi Crossroads, Bata Crossroads, Subash Road, Ramgopalpet PS, MG Road, Paradise, CTO Crossroads, Balamrai, Tadbun Crossroads, Chinnatokata Bridge, Seven Temple Roads, New Bowenpally, Sarojini Pulla Reddy Building, Central Point, Diamond Point, Mastan Café and Tadbun Hanuman Temple .
The traffic will not be allowed from RTC Crossroads towards Musheerabad Crossroads and will be diverted. The RTC buses will also be diverted based on the necessity on the procession route. Since the traffic congestion is expected on the above routes, the general public was requested to start early and take alternative routes for reaching their destinations in time, police officials said.
Restrictions for car show Meanwhile, City Commissioner of Police M Mahendar Reddy on Thursday notified that in order to relieve traffic congestion and to maintain smooth flow of traffic to ensure public safety in connection with “Redbull F1 Car Show” on April 5, on Upper Tank bund from 5 am to 12 pm , the following traffic diversions/restrictions are imposed. Traffic coming from Karbala Maidan towards Upper Tank Bund will be diverted at Children’s Park towards Lower Tank Bund.
Traffic coming from Kattamaisamma towards Children’s Park will not be allowed, and will be diverted at DBR Mills towards Kawadiguda (Need Basis). Traffic coming from Kawadiguda towards Children’s Park will not be allowed and diverted at DBR Mills towards Kattamaisamma – Lower Tank Bund. Traffic coming from Kattamaisamma towards Ambedkar statue through slip road will not be allowed and will be diverted on to Telugu Thalli flyover.
Meanwhile, traffic coming from Iqbal Minar will not be allowed towards Telugu Thalli flyover– Upper Tank Bund and will be diverted at Old Gate Secretariat on to Telugu Thalli flyover. Traffic coming from Ravindra Bharathi towards VV Statue will not be allowed towards Telugu Thalli flyover and will be diverted towards Mint Compound. Traffic coming from VV Statue towards Ambedkar statue will not be allowed and will be diverted at Telugu Thalli flyover towards Iqbal Minar and I T Junction.
Traffic coming from Crystal and I T Lane towards Ambedkar statue will not be allowed and will be diverted at Telugu Thalli flyover towards Iqbal Minar. Traffic coming from Liberty towards Upper Tank Bund will not be allowed and diverted at GHMC office towards I T Junction.
